The Mallacoota Shark
- RIVER REDGUM - 3000 x 850 mm x 50mm - 150 kilograms
This one glides like a shark in the night. Salvaged from the shadowy depths of Briagalong in Gippsland, its a journeyman, navigating the seas off the Mallacoota Coast. Rich, red, understated and sharp, the gum pocket at its lower centre is a sly attempt at being like the others. But its not. This piece is a solo hunter. 3000 high and 850mm wide, its 50 mm thickness rounds it out to a magnificent end. Natural bark edgings are understated, meaning no offence will be taken if they're shaved off to create a perfect rectangle for your bench or table top. Only 150 kilos, but laden with style, The Mallacoota Shark is yours for the taking.
