Sourced from a wind-felled tree in Edenhope, Western Victoria, The Sergeant is a broad-shouldered 1600 wide red gum anomaly standing at 2500 mm in height. It's rare to find a 65mm thick edging with this much character and the wildly exotic markings of this piece feature grains and gum veins that - not unlike the lines of a veteran's weary eyes - overwhelm on first glance. A vibrant amber hue with lionesque etchings, The Sergeant speaks for itself. Do what you will with it, but respect it's lineage at all times.
