A relic of the ages, the Great Geoffery is a 3300 mm tall, 1100 mm wide master of ceremonies. Dark red pockets of redgum richness blend seamlessly into dark brown and amber highlights. Moodier than most, but full of distinction and quiet confidence, this 215 kilogram piece was cut from a redgum wind felled log on a farm in Wharparilla, near Echuca, Victoria. An extraordinarily solid, hardy and beautifully seasoned piece, The Great Geoffrey, like its namesake, will add distinction and great character to any room. A sly motion to the right in its shaping makes this one piece red gum slab a learned, considered, but cheeky rogue.
